I thought I was crazy.

OK. So I thought I would be the only one to EVER wear these boots.
I was too scared to admit I made the purchase.

I ordered them a couple of weeks back . Please don't get lost in the mail. please don't get lost in the mail.

So as I awoke this morning and checked out the beautiful Garance's blog. I let out a shout of glee. Truthfully.

Taylor shares the same love.

I head home for the holidays and due to the frigid temperatures (last year we had a cold snap of -50 degrees Celsius...its beyond natural) I knew I needed some new boots to keep me from, not only my feet from falling off, but protection from the snow and ever so sneaky ice patches.
I went on a boot search and came out with a few.
One of them being these ugly.beautiful slickers. I fell in love instantly and pictured myself tromping through the snow with these bad boys.
I'm sure no one will share the same sentiment. But at least I will still have my toes.

Its weird now I can't wait for the snow...
which I WILL regret saying when we have 30 inches of snow outside our front door.

    I kinda love them!

    I remember wearing the non-heeled version as a kid. They were super-popular in the 80s; we called them "mucky ducks". Can't wait to see you rocking them, Leese!

    I think though shoes could go either way for me, love or hate... however when you wear them, I know it's going to be love love love, because you have the ability to make anything look fabulous and totally covetable! :D

    And 1 word comments?! I hope you know a girl with a mouth as big as me is totally uncapable of summing things up 1 word, so that's not gonna happen! :P

    And repeat after me: "I am worthy of such kindness, I am worthy of such kindness..." just keep doing that til you believe it, cause you totally ARE worthy of such kindness! :)

    Oh what is with brothers giving us our nicknames? My family (except my mother) and most everyone around calls me "Cole", and that is all thanks to my little brother, who couldn't say, "Susanna" when he was young (tongue ties all young children really) so we tried to get him to say my middle name, Nicole, and he shortened it to Cole, and it stuck. Of course that nickname was not always around, so there's still a great deal of people who know me as Susanna, so I always put the two together now... I couldn't remember anymore, who knew me as "Susanna" and who knew me as "Cole", I solve the problem by using both! ;)

    Anyway, hope your work on Excel went well! And oh, hm, well I've still been thinking on the bangs, I want them, but I wish I could do a trial run maybe... cause whenever I've gotten them in the past, I tend to get annoyed with them shortly after. It's annoying to have to straighten them every morning. :P

    But if I do get bangs, I will be sure to send you a picture of them ok? :)

    you know what? they actually work!

    last year was freezing! i live in oakville ontario, right by the lake and it was not enjoyable. i had to succumb to wearing three layers of socks and gasp... uggs
    i know, the shame
