vancouver 2010 !
my home and nation land.
is anyone else excited about the olympics ? or am i a crazzzzy gal.
i'm not normally a super fan, actually i don't follow sports at all, but since its on my home turf, and in one of my favorite cities in the world, i am captivated and excited about all the hot athletes showcasing their amazing talent.
it is such a beautiful, and unifying event, and apart from all the wicked events (!!!) it brings such diverse nations together, to celebrate life, health and prosperity.
thats what puts a smile on my face.
with everything that has been going on in the world, this global event will warm our hearts and allow us a little bit of escapism, if only for a moment.
i know i'll be wearing my official olympic hoodie (see above) out and about in ny !!!
S O sorry i have not been able to post more often. i started school this week + my internship and it is killer.

Awesome shot of Vancity! It is also one of my favorite cities. Im pumped to watch olympic hockey! And did you know the mascots were made in Canada? I made some of them here in Edmonton! Love your blog! You are fuelling my NEED to go to NY!
I don't do sports either but this is different. I know I'll get all caught up in Team Canada Olympic excitement once the Games start!

How are you?!? New York looks amazing! Are you settling in and everything? So bummed I couldn't make it to NYFW, but oh well, there's always the September shows.
The silver lining: The Olympics are in my backyard!!! So amazing. The entire city is electric...and I don't think there's ever been a better time to be Canadian :)
