good morning beauties!
so sorry for my absence but we had a m a j o r blizzard.
i still can't believe it.
it was snow for 2 days straight. and now the temps dipped to -30 celsius.
what? is this normal? snow dunes?
i not only had to walk in hip-deep snow to get to my car for work yesterday, i had to shovel the car out!
i even had to walk to the supermarket ( in my parka- free city sweats- and my mom's ancient "uggs") b/c my car would of gotten stuck.
oh boy- i could go on with a million little stories of thing i witnessed! ski-dooing through the streets... go 30km down a national highway....
i guess winter is here ! ! ! tis' the season ! ! ! all i can do is smile + laugh and enjoy the sparkle of the christmas lights against the snow at night.

Jesus, -30 celcius...I'm starting to become very discouraged about my Canada trip in a few weeks...

But still getting that snowy feeling! We had our first snow of the season, yesterday, but not nearly THAT much snow! ;)

oh wow! are we from the same city?? the "city of champions"?? haha. i'm loving the snow. it reminds me of when i was a kid and we had snow piles so high on front lawns that you could hardly see the houses. we havent got that much snow here in a long time. i think its beautiful!!! definitely got me in the christmas spirit! enjoy! stay warm!

i love seeing this, reminds me that I shouldn't complain about it being 3 degrees here right now (West Coast is always balmy). I thought that was cold last night, but -30 reminds me that im lucky. i love canada's extremes in weather!

I was snowed in, too, this past weekend! I didn't get any of the Christmas shopping I wanted to get done because I couldn't drive - my car kept getting stuck in the snow. OH, Canada! Stay warm. And remember, no one can see if you've got long johns on under your pants. (Winter fashion tip from moi.)
Starbucks in the snow!? What an epic juxtaposition. :) Hey, -30 wowowowowow you're brave, L! I can't hardly deal with it when the weather is in 32ºF here lol.. but after all I am a Tropical/Miami girl at heart.. so it's hard. And yes, New York called out my name LOUD AND CLEAR. I want to live there someday or at least visit on ocassion as often as possible!
